“This was a great tour! We considered just taking the train from Lisbon and doing Sintra and the palace on our own - I’m so glad we decided not to take that option. Instead we had a comfortable van take us directly to the palace (otherwise you have to take a separate bus after the train) and our driver walked us through the palace and told us all about it. “I was so thankful I decided to book this tour! The tour of Palacio da Pena (the Royal Palace) was worth every penny, however, on top of that we saw the beautiful beaches on the coast with wind surfers and vacationers along the way to Cabo Da Roca (the most western point of Europe). Cascais was an incredible hidden gem with many restaurants and shops. Leaving Cascais we were able to view the beautiful homes and Casinos straight out of a James Bond movie. I highly recommend it!”

“The tour of the grounds of Pena Palace was amazing and our guide took pictures of us and was very informative about the outside of the palace, he dropped us off at the Regaleira and we toured the grounds on our own - of course the initiation well was amazing and the highlight of the grounds then next to lunch in the town of Sintra, such a quaint village with winding small streets and wonderful square, last was our favorite Monserrate Palace, its beautiful and so worth the visit, this is the tour that has it all, definitely the one to book - We were 4 adults in our 60’s…”

“A really nice overview of Sintra and the coast. We could have used more time at the Palace, I didn't have enough time to see the gardens. The guide was informative but sometimes had trouble with our American English. Wine tour was not possible since owner was away. We had some wine but it wasn't very good. In the future, I would request a guide who doesn't smoke, I ended up with a sinus headache, he didn't smoke near me but the car smelled of smoke.”
